SMILE Media is delighted to spotlight the impactful three-day leadership training for women in decision-making, organized by the Maa Foundation for Women (MFW) in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Welfare, and generously sponsored by UNDP.
The program’s opening ceremony featured the UNDP Resident Representative, the Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Welfare, and the CEO of the Maa Foundation for Women, setting the stage for an empowering journey. The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Republic of Gambia, alongside key leaders, adding grace and inspiration to the event.
This initiative underscores the collaborative spirit between the Gambian government, civil society organizations, and the Office of the First Lady. We extend our gratitude to the Cancer Unit of the Ministry of Health for their screenings during Cancer Awareness Month, highlighting the multitasking spirit of women in leadership and health.
