According to L’Observateur, the incident occurred a few weeks ago in the nearby town of Somone, where Djiby D. returned home to find the woman in his mother’s bed, wearing her clothes, while his mother was in Belgium.
Viewing this as blatant disrespect, he assaulted both of them, dragged them outside, and caused significant damage inside the house. The victims filed complaints backed by medical certificates stating they needed several days to recover.
In court, the stepfather, Ivan Charles V., explained that his wife had left the marital home six months earlier, suggesting the relationship with the woman was not secret. He also told the judges that he had been supporting his stepson’s studies despite repeated threats.
The tribunal weighed these arguments and the facts of the assault before finding the student guilty and issuing the suspended sentence, Seneweb reported.
